2.1 Analytics data (upon consent)

• IP address — used to derive approximate geographic location (city and country) via a geolocation service, then stored as collected.
• Browser fingerprint — a stable identifier derived from browser signals (device type, GPU, browser family, screen resolution, timezone, language settings, color gamut, touch support, storage APIs). Generated via FingerprintJS. Used to distinguish new from returning visitors.
• Page visited and referrer — which page you landed on and where you came from.
• UTM / tracking parameters — campaign tags present in the URL (e.g. utm_source, ref).
• Behavioral signals — which page sections you scrolled to, CTA elements you hovered or clicked, and whether you interacted with the contact form (including partially filled fields if you leave without submitting).

2.2 Contact form data

If you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, company name, and message. This data is processed by Netlify Forms and used solely to respond to your inquiry.

3. Legal Basis (GDPR)

Analytics data (section 2.1) is processed on the basis of your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time (see section 7).

Contact form data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — specifically, responding to a business inquiry you initiated.

• Visitor records (Netlify Blobs): retained indefinitely until a deletion request is received.
• Analytics log (Google Sheets): retained indefinitely until a deletion request is received.
• Discord threads: retained per Discord's standard retention policy.
• Contact form submissions: retained as long as reasonably necessary to handle your inquiry.

6. Your Rights Under GDPR

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights:

• Right of access (Art. 15) — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Right to rectification (Art. 16) — request correction of inaccurate data.
• Right to erasure (Art. 17) — request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
• Right to restriction (Art. 18) — request that we limit the processing of your data.
• Right to data portability (Art. 20) — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Right to object (Art. 21) — object to processing based on legitimate interest.
• Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3)) — withdraw your analytics consent at any time (see section 7).
• Right to lodge a complaint — you may contact the supervisory authority in your EU member state.

7. Withdrawing Consent

You can withdraw your analytics consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site, or by clicking the button below. This will not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

8. International Data Transfers

RusticIT LLC is based in the United States. By using this site and consenting to analytics, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our third-party processors operate. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent safeguards under Chapter V of the GDPR.
